Rabeh is young. At 22 years old, he decided to leave behind 11 years of war and violence. Above all, he wanted to escape a land that could no longer offer any hope for the future. Being the only male in his family, he was exempt from military service, which allowed him to pursue a better future in Europe.

He attempted the journey several times, with his last attempt involving a group of young people and a guide. He had no money, no phone, and no documents. He was wearing black pants and a jacket, green-striped gloves, and shoes with the Nike logo.

The family lost contact with Rabeh on November 25, 2022. Since then, they have tried to track him down by reaching out to the Red Cross and posting an ad on Facebook pages for missing people, but unfortunately, they have not received any response.
